Smart Charging & Billing

Make every parking space EV-ready

One connected Bruntab solution for safe charging, user identification, load management and automatic allocation of every vehicle’s electricity cost.

Charging should feel effortless

A charger is only the beginning

In a shared parking facility, the real challenge is delivering safe, available power and assigning every kilowatt-hour to the right user—without overloading the building or creating work for management.

Limited electrical capacity

Several vehicles charging together can exceed the parking panel’s available capacity.

Who used the electricity?

A shared meter cannot show which resident or vehicle should pay for each charging session.

Installation complexity

Cable routes, protection, earthing, panel capacity, parking layout and connector type all matter.

No operational visibility

Without connected management, faults, availability and charging history remain invisible.

The Bruntab solution

One connected system—from parking bay to individual bill

Bruntab designs the electrical infrastructure, supplies the appropriate AC or DC charger, identifies users, records every session and connects charging data to a management and billing layer.

  • Technical site survey and charger selection
  • RFID-based access for authorized users
  • Session-level energy measurement and history
  • Load control for multiple simultaneous chargers
  • Transparent cost allocation for each user

How a session works

Plug in. Identify. Charge. Pay fairly.

A simple experience for the driver, with the controls and records the building manager needs.

01

Connect

The driver connects the vehicle using the compatible charging cable.

02

Identify

An assigned RFID card authorizes the user and links the session to their account.

03

Charge intelligently

The system delivers energy within configured current and site-capacity limits.

04

Allocate the cost

Measured kilowatt-hours are stored and converted into a transparent user charge.

The right charger for the right stop

Match charging power to dwell time and infrastructure

Bruntab evaluates the vehicle, connector, available supply and expected parking time before recommending equipment.

Smart charging management

Give every resident a charger—not the building a power problem

As adoption grows, unmanaged charging becomes expensive and difficult to operate. A connected system creates one view of chargers, users, energy and capacity.

Dynamic load controlKeep total charging demand within the power limit defined for the site.
Individual billingAssociate measured consumption with the authenticated driver or apartment.
Remote visibilityReview status, session history, energy use and operational events.
Expandable architectureStart with today’s parking bays and add chargers as demand increases.

Frequently asked questions

What building owners usually ask first

Every site is different. A technical survey confirms the appropriate charger, cable route, panel work and management architecture.

View all EV charger FAQs →
Can chargers use the building’s shared electricity supply?

Yes, where the assessed electrical capacity and protective infrastructure permit it. Bruntab can measure each authenticated session separately so the related cost is assigned only to the user who charged.

What is the difference between AC and DC charging?

AC charging uses the vehicle’s onboard charger and suits longer parking periods. DC equipment supplies the battery directly at higher power and is generally selected for faster-turnaround locations.

What happens when several cars charge at once?

A managed design can limit or distribute available power between active chargers, helping the charging network remain within the site’s configured capacity.

Can the system grow after the first installation?

Yes. Bruntab can design the panel, communications and management layer around a phased rollout so additional parking bays can be equipped as demand grows.
