Air Pressure and Temperature Datalogger

The BLOCK air-pressure datalogger measures, records, and reports atmospheric pressure and temperature while delivering immediate alerts when configured limits are exceeded.

Air-pressure monitoring

The instrument measures air pressure from 300 to 1,100 hPa and simultaneously monitors temperature. Powered by four AA batteries, it operates as both a precision logger and a wireless network alarm device. Through the web platform, users can set measurement and upload intervals as well as minimum and maximum alarm thresholds. When a reading leaves the permitted range, the system can notify designated users by SMS and email.

Recorded pressure, temperature, and humidity data are available on desktop and mobile as raw records, charts, downloadable Excel files, and reports. Automatic transfer eliminates manual reading errors.

Applications

Detecting pressure imbalance

Continuous comparison of indoor and outdoor pressure helps reveal HVAC imbalance, reduce energy loss, and prevent possible structural damage.

Leak detection

Abnormal pressure trends may indicate air leakage through ducts, doors, or windows, allowing prompt corrective action.

Ventilation optimization

Monitoring correct air-exchange rates helps prevent excessive positive or negative pressure, equipment wear, and declining indoor-air quality.

Pressure-sensitive operations

Long-term pressure records identify fluctuations that could affect manufacturing or controlled processes.

Preventive maintenance

Trend anomalies can provide early warning of HVAC inefficiency or developing equipment faults.
